In a terrorist attack at Pulwana in Jammu and Kashmir, 37 CRPF personnel were martyred leaving India in plunging sorrow. A terrorist attacked with explosive-laden vehicle, he rammed the vehicle into one of the buses of the convoy of the security forces.
According to the reports, 38 CRPF personnel have been martyred in this attack on the convoy.
Police identified the terrorist as Adi Ahmad Dar alias Waqas Commander from Kakapora in Pulwama. A person named Jaish-e-mohammed has claimed to be responsible for the attack.
The terrorist Adi Ahmad was driving a Scorpio SUV from Kakpora in Pulwama. The vehicle contained approximately 350 kgs of explosives. He slammed the vehicle straight into the convoy which was coming from Jammu and Kashmir. This suicide car bomb attack was a drastic one.
The explosives used by the terrorists were so strong that the blast was heard from 10-12 kms away. Body parts of the personnel killed were scattered on Jammu-Srinagar Highway. Some bodies are so badly damaged that they may take some time for identification.
This attack is said to be the worst terror attack after the URI attack in 20616,
